A long time ago: 2 - 3 years. I don't know what it looks like now, but the place had gone downhill the last time I was there. They had to modify things in accordance with health and saftey. Typical British attitude from the authorities.

What's the difference between Michael Jackson and alex ferguson? Ferguson is still playing Giggs next year. Heard that somewhere and had to post it, even though it is in the worst possible taste.

it's kind of strange seeing him in this new unusual jersey - I wanted to correct it because you'd made a long, and mostly correct, sentence.

Hard to say what weight those plates are. 10s? The front squat is amazing for developing power. One of the best movements you can do with a barbell for overall athletic strength development, and also a good indicator of where you are in terms of strength, as you cannot cheat this movement like most others. If you lose your form you'll either dump the weight forward or fall back and need a new trachea/head transplant.

The French national is fun. Loads of big rocks and roots. There are lots of other fun trails in that area, away from Morzine and Les Gets. I prefer the more natural runs over the brake-bumped burmed sections of places like Chavanne (although I agree that Chavanne is addictive and the new top section in 08 was fast and fun).

not bad! But there was just so much of it; the race couldnt even start up there because there was a damn blizzard: then you get some years when there's absolutely no snow whatsoever! If you have an occastional tendancy towards self-punishment, you should definately try it T-A. Everyone who does it (whether they then want to do it again or not) says it was worth it and that every MTBer should try it. I know you're more than up to it (but wanting to do it is another thing!).

Sweet little street spot. Great photo all round, I cannot think of anything particular to say that I like about it because I like everything about it.
